Looking at the quote attributed to Jesus, and looking at the definitions provided from the original language, meditate on what this means to you.

Ask yourself, if the kingdom of God is within, why are we taught in religion to look outside ourselves?

If God is within us, what does that say about how we represent the divine by our behavior to others?

What would you change about how you interact with others of differing beliefs if you knew without a doubt that God did reside within you?

In most religions, there is a belief that the Divine being is omnipresent, omnipotent, and infinite.

Do we, as human beings, who are finite in our capacity to understand the infinite, limit the Divine the minute we start to define it?

Something to meditate on and as always, feel free to share your thoughts!

Today’s Friday meditation is to imagine yourself passed on from this world. You are face-to-face with God, Allah, Buddha, Goddess, Great Spirit, Mother/Father, or whatever you choose to call the divine Presence.

What religion is this being?

How do you know?
